2012 - Stonehenge

This year's event took us to the Stonehenge. With 19 tents, over 50 people including 15 children from the ages of 11mths to 8 years old, this was the most successful trip ever. BBQ & Pau Bhaji on the menu. Cricket, volleyball and plenty of tea, it was a pleasure to be at. We are all already looking forward to 2013 :-)

2012 - Stonehenge - Press Pack

Our younger participants also took photos during the trip. Lead by Alok Kulkarni (our Camp Leader for the weekend) and assisted by Amun Vartak, Kabir Botre and Akshata Pawargi they took photos and conducted interviews of the people on the trip as well as carrying out tasks such as making sure everyone had something to eat and drink, picking up litter, handing out tags, keeping the younger members away from the fire and assisting me during the weekend. 2011 - BBQ on the Beach

A day out at the seaside at West Witterning. One of the best sandy beaches on the south coast of England.

2009 - New Forest

A second trip to the New Forest meant a chance to do some Bushcraft. We built shelters and made fires. We also had the traditional BBQ and Pav Bhaji which no camp would be the same without

2008 - Scotland

The Highlands of Scotland with trips to the Isle of Skye, Ben Nevis and a ride on the Harry Potter Train

2007 - Peak District

Some new families join us. Dramatic landscapes and beautiful country houses from the world of Jane Austen

2006 - Cornwall

A lot more people this year. The weather was really good too. There were lots of picture of flowers but had to leave them out of this album

2005 - New Forest

New faces in this one. As you can see some very small people came along for this one

2003 - Glastonbury

First Ever Camping Event organised by MitraUK. Equipment was minimal and it was cold. Other than me, no-one had ever been camping like this before. It was a great experience.

2010 - Scafell Pike

The last of the MitraUK 3 peak challenge to climb the 3 highest mountains in the UK. The weather was generous and the climb worth doing. We stayed in a YHA Hostel nearby and explored the nearby Lake District during the weekend

2010 - Sherwood Forest

The home of Robin Hood. With battles, medieval weddings and the chance to show off our archery skills, this weekend was in a quiet location just on the outskirts of Nottingham. The girls made the BBQ and the guys responsible for Pav Bhaji. Sherwood Forest is beautiful. If you haven't already been, it is well worth a visit.
