MitraUK is the online community for the Maharashtrian community in the UK that started in 1998.
There are events during the year and our aim is simple. Have fun, build a community and get involved in doing activities that no-one else does. Our events programme over the past 10 years has covered the length and breadth of Britain and we always have something a bit different on the programme. The only thing you need to do is have a go.
Camping, cycling, walking, picnics, raising money for Sport Relief, museum visits and trips to the beach. We even had a Puran Poli event where 15 of us got together to get cooking. Varied events and lots of fun. There is something for everyone and all you have to do is say yes and have a go.

Our website is updated regularly with news and information and is a great way to keep in contact with fellow maharashtrians in the UK.
I have run MitraUK since 2001 and it is constantly growing. With over 800 members in the Yahoo Group and nearly 400 members on Facebook there are lots of people to communicate with. Come and Join Us.
